Concert videos

These are mostly for my mom and dad, but anybody is welcome to see them!!

Here is the CBA Orchestra (both intermediates and advanced) playing the "Halleluiah Chorus" at the Christmas concert on 12/2/10.  (Sorry I missed the first few measures!)



Additionally, here's the CBA chorus performing "Mary, Did You Know?"  Unfortunately, my 12-year-old videographer filmed more of ME playing the piano than she did of the choir singing!!  And at points you can also hear her humming along with the music!!  Since she's sitting so close to the piano, it's difficult to hear them sometimes -- but they did a great job!  At least this is proof to Mom and Dad that all of those years of piano lessons did not go to waste -- I'm still playing!!

Winter already?

Hmmmmm....... Winter holidays? Love 'em! Snow? Not so much..... I thought the first official day of winter was December 21, so what's going on here?

I woke up yesterday to find this ......




And as pretty as it was, I was very glad it melted off quickly during the day ...... only to open the curtains this morning to find.....





I'm starting to think this is going to be another very loooooooooong winter....... sigh.....
